80 Coyote Pass Rd, Sedona, AZ 86336

Affectionately called “Stairway to Heaven”, this wonderful home has every advantage. It is perched on the side of a hill high up in the Color Cove area in the desirable Dry Creek Corridor. It has commanding panoramic red rock and city views that include most of Sedona’s famous rocks. This home is spacious thanks to the generous size rooms, cathedral ceilings, skylights and large windows that let the natural light in.

It is resort-like with a fabulous pool, hot tub and patio offering lots of quality outdoor living. The home is well designed to make the best use of this premium property and breathtaking views. Most of the living areas are on the first floor. An elevator is available to transport you from the lower level garage to the main floor. The home faces east and a split floor plan provides a large master suite in the north end of the house and the two guest bedrooms in the south end of the house.

You enter the home through tall wooden doors and step into a welcoming foyer. There is a powder room off to your left and access to the elevator. You ascend a flight of three stairs to a short landing and a second set of six stairs to the expansive master suite. Tall wooden doors open to a 28’ x 30’ master with a slate accented gas fireplace and wooden French doors that open out to a front terrace and back patio that leads to the dining room. The views from the terrace are in keeping with the extraordinary red rock views available from most of the home. The master suite affords complete privacy from the rest of the home. The carpet in the bedroom brings warmth to the room. The walk-in closet is the same large scale as the rest of the home. The master bathroom has corian countertops with double vanities, all white cabinetry, a jetted tub and there is artistic tile pattern everywhere. The generous windows and skylights make the room light and bright.

The main hallway from the front foyer leads to the 35’ x 28’ living room on the east side of the home and the family room, kitchen, dining room, office, laundry room and two bedrooms are four stairs up at the end of the hallway. The pool can be accessed five stairs down from the family room and on the same level as the living room, office and guest bedroom.

Only the large picture windows that capture the big red rock views will draw your attention away from the impressive river rock fireplace at the heart of the living room.

The breakfast bar is the centerpiece of the kitchen. It has a sink and wine cooler making it the perfect wet bar or an extraordinary dark wooden breakfast bar. There is also a large slab granite topped center island with a six-burner gas cook top, fabulous pantry, custom dark wood cabinetry and a built-in desk in the kitchen. The kitchen opens to a cozy family room with a bay window looking out to the pool.

The 22’ x 20’ formal dining room is just off the kitchen and it offers elegant front row views of the majestic red rocks, French doors out to a private patio at the back of the house and access to the elevator. Double doors from the kitchen lead to the library/study/den. It offers a slate surround and rich wood mantle fireplace and great built-ins for all your books. The famous red rock views that you have come to expect are also a fabulous feature of this room.

The porcelain tile unifies all the living spaces in the main living areas. It is complimented by carpet in the study and dark hardwood in the living room. Wood beams, railings, window frames, doors and mantles combine to provide a warm ambiance in every room of this luxurious home.

There are two bedrooms & bathrooms on the south end of the home. There is an exercise or hobby room on the lower level with the garage. It is accessed off the main hallway down a flight of stairs.
